FANTASTIC FIVE. Town and Country Swim Team standouts (l to r) Levi Cox, Noah Valentine, JW Valentine, Nicholas Barrow and Ethan Stallings. (Photo Submitted)

LOUISBURG -- The Town and Country Stingrays stayed close with long-time rival Winchester during a July 19 league swim meet at the TC Pool.

But in the end, the Stingrays, who were missing several vacationing swimmers, were edged 194-166 by the Waves for their first setback of the 2018 summer campaign.

Winchester has been a measuring stick for Town and Country through the years, and the Stingrays have undoubtedly been competitive against the Waves this season.
