ANGELA DANELLE DENTON HICKS
April 8, 1968 - August 3, 2018

YOUNGSVILLE - Angela Danelle Denton Hicks, 50, of Youngsville, died Friday at her home.

Danelle was preceded in death by her brother, Travis Gupton.

She was the shining light and the love of her family. She was a member of Maple Springs Baptist Church and a Nutritionist for Wake County Public Schools.

A funeral service was held 11 a.m. Monday at Maple Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Danelle is survived by her husband, Scott Hicks; mother and stepfather, Gladys and Johnny Aycock; father and stepmother, Dan and Elaine Denton; daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Jacob Newell; sister and brother-in-law, Danette and Kenny Driver; brothers and sister-in-law, Rodney and Maribeth Allen; Neil Allen and Bobby Aycock; grandchildren, Olivia and Ethan Newell; nieces, Ryley, Mallory and Sara; nephews, Rex, Jonathan and Christian; mother and father-in-law, Claudia and Carlton Driver; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Heidi Hicks.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 351 T. Kemp Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549 or to The Gideons International Processing Center, P.O. Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251.

The family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. Sunday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
