LINDA J. SHEARIN

LOUISBURG--Linda Joyner Shearin, 86, of Louisburg transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, September 30, 2018. She was born on March 24, 1932 to the late Augusta Paul and Hattie Ray House Joyner.

She loved her job and retired after 22 years at Franklin Regional Hospital as a medical secretary. After retiring, she took time to travel with her friends. Her real love was trying to keep up with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 10:45 am on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, with a funeral service being held at 11:00 am, with Rev. Doug Moore and Rev. Kaden Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

She is survived by her daughters, Marion S. Shearin (Darrell) and Rebecca S. Allen (Carl); grandchildren, Leslie Jones (Jessie), Clayton Shearin (Neela), Ivey Weathers (Wesley) and Stacey Wynne (Jason); great-grandchildren, Justin Weathers, Jessica Weathers, Carly Weathers, Ethan Addington, Addison Jones and Bates Shearin.
