CAROLYN A. FRANKLIN

LOUISBURG--Carolyn Allen Franklin, 75, of Louisburg transitioned peacefully into eternal rest while surrounded by her family and close friends on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Born on May 6, 1943 to the late Thomas and Hazel McGhee Allen. Carolyn was employed with Franklin Regional Medical Center for over twenty years. She loved to help people and would never say no to anyone who needed help. She loved shopping, jewelry and cooking and was known for her famous chocolate and egg custard pies. She loved Christmas and was truly a child at heart.

The family received friends Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, NC.

She is survived by her boyfriend of 33 years, Thomas "Coca Cola" King; son, Jackie Riley (Laura); daughter, Denise Norton (Anthony Goins); granddaughters, Nikki Hatchel (Nathan), Elizabeth Talley (John), Wendy Gracia; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Claire and Porter; brothers, David Allen and W.T. "Bootie" Allen.
