MARGARET H. BOYETTE

LOUISBURG--Margaret Hunt Boyette, age 73, of Louisburg passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2018 after a period of declining health. Born on October 14, 1945 to the late Dave and Maggie Moore Hunt, she was the youngest of nine siblings and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a Sunday school teacher and deacon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Boyette; sisters, Sarah Arnold and Mildred Ball; brothers, Jack Hunt, J.T. Hunt, Roy "Dude" Hunt, and Dave Hunt.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18th, from 6:30 until 8:00 pm at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, NC 27549. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 19th, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev Bill Haley officiating. Interment will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park

She is survived by her son, Jay Boyette (Beverly); daughter, Kim Denton (Thomas); grandsons, Mark and Edward Denton; sisters, Jean Pleasants and Joan Edwards; and many nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
