CURTIS W. ALLEY

LOUISBURG--Curtis Wayne Alley, 71, of Louisburg departed this earthly life on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at his daughter's home surrounded by family. Born on October 5, 1947 to the late William Greene Alley and Violet Smith Dorsey, Curtis enjoyed gardening, hunting and listening to music. He also owned a race car. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Robin Alley, and his sister, Charlotte Watkins.

A memorial service will be held Friday night from 7 to 8:00 pm at White Level Fire Department and a service will also be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at White Level Holiness Church, Pastor Allen Gardner and Pastor Larry Ayscue.

He is survived by a special friend, Josie Duran; children, Debbie Alley (Kenneth), Wendy Bishop, Curtis Alley, Jr., Johnnie Alley, Tomiko Alley Myers (Robert), Jason Alley (Sheila), Star Alley (David), Bradley Alley (Marilu), Trevor Alley, Crystal Alley, Wayne Alley and Roman Duran; eighteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry Alley (Becky), Cheryl Bowers and Cathy Smith (Ned); and many nieces and nephews.
