CHRISTINE MAY HILL

YOUNGSVILLE - Christine May Hill, 92, formerly of Youngsville, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Mayview Convalescent Center in Raleigh. Funeral services were conducted Friday, July 6, at Flat Rock Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gary McNair officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

She was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late William Elisa May and Leila Ellis May. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Hill Sr., and a son, Richard B. Hill Jr.. She was a homemaker.

Surviving: her children, Jean Baker Hill of State College, Pa., William H. Hill (Betty) of Clayton, Fran Wise (Chris), P. D. "Dwight" Hill (Becky), all of Raleigh, Sandra Polley (Don) of Wake Forest; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church, 1529 Flat Rock Church Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549 or to Hospice of Wake Forest, 1300 St. Mary's St., Suite 400, Raleigh, NC 27605-1276.
