LOUISE "SPROOKY" JENKINS

LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Louise "Sprooky" Jenkins, 75, who died Wednesday, June 26, 2019, will be held Sunday, June 30, at 3 p.m. at Old Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Louisburg.

Surviving: spouse, J.P. Jenkins of the home; daughters, Mary Alston of Wake Forest and Tarsha Daniels of Durham; son, Rev. Michael A. Alston (Terry) of Youngsville; sisters, Edna Ashley of Providence, RI, Apostle Barbara S. Watkins (James) of Louisburg, Cynthia S. Parks (James) of Louisburg, Min. Margaret M. Watkins of Louisburg, and Myrtle Strickland-Shepard of Louisburg; brothers, Claude Wise (Barbara) of Zebulon,, James Wise (Louise) of Garner, Larry Wise (Linda) of Knightdale, Charles Wise of Wake Forest, Bobby Crews (Gwen) of Los Angeles, CA, Robert Earl Strickland of Louisburg, James Strickland of Raleigh, Benjamin Strickland (Melba) of Knightdale, Tommy Strickland (Velma) of Raleigh, and Sedwritz Strickland of Raleigh; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Saturday, June 29, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home chapel in Louisburg.
