Democrats chided over IDs

Dear editor:

The Franklin County Democratic Party recently supported an event about voter suppression.

Some at the event claimed that it's voter suppression/disenfranchisement to have to show a valid photo ID when voting.

But hold it right there.

At the 2016 Democratic National Convention, delegates voted on who to support for president and vice president.

But they had to show a valid photo ID before going inside to vote.

Isn't that voter suppression, too?

Where's the outrage, Democrats?

Crickets chirping.

John, when you figure out the intellect the Democrats are using on this voter ID thing, please let us know. We live in an age where you have to have ID for everything you do. What if we told a highway patrolman that he/she discriminated by asking for our driver's license? I get so tired of hearing the same old gripe day after day. On the other hand, life would be boring without democrats. We are going to miss them when they self-destruct.
