TRAVIS LEE HAYES

FRANKLINTON-Travis Lee Hayes, 49, of Franklinton. Travis' suffering ended on Friday, August 30, 2019. He was born on March 27, 1970 to Carlin Parker Barrett and the late Jerry Eugene Hayes. Travis was also preceded in death by his stepfather, James Edward Barrett.

Travis enjoyed music, fishing, going to the mountains, and watching old western movies. He was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr., as well as Snoopy, and Travis loved his dogs and his cars. He loved making people laugh, he was charming, and very compassionate towards others.

Graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery.

In addition to his mother, Carlin, Travis is survived by the love of his life, Mary Baker and her daughter, Brooklynn; his sisters, Shelly Smith (Woody) and Brandy Manning; his brothers, Jimmy Hayes and Brandon Hayes; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family gives heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Transitions LifeCare for the love and care given to Travis. Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services. Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
