LOIS FULLER BELL

Mrs. Lois Fuller Bell, 82, died on January 31, 2020 after several years of declining health. She was the daughter of the late William David Fuller and Pauline Henry Fuller of Youngsville.

Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her beloved husband, E.C. Bell; her brothers, James Wilfred Fuller and Alfred Lee Fuller, and by several other family members whom she loved dearly.

Mrs. Bell graduated from Youngsville High School and immediately accepted employment with the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles in Raleigh, where she worked for thirty-one years. She retired as manager of the Title & License Unit. After her retirement, she worked as secretary to Flat Rock Baptist Church for eighteen years.

She was an active member of Flat Rock Baptist Church for all of her adult life. She served in numerous volunteer positions in the church, including president of Women on Mission for fifteen years, Sunday School Director, Assistant Clerk, and chair member.

Mrs. Bell is survived by her beloved son, Reggie Bell and his wife, Renee Garner Bell; her grandchildren, Amanda Susan Bell, Robbie Bell and his wife Amanda Lauren Bell; and one great-grandson, Clay Bell.

She is also survived by a sister, Betty Gray Fuller, and brother, Curt Fuller and his wife, Barbara Bailey Fuller. Also surviving are in-laws, Linda Brown Fuller, Bonnie Bell Campos, Carolyn Bell Blackburn, Rebecca Bell Walker and Carson Bell and his wife Jeanette Smith Bell, as well as many loving nieces and nephews and their children.

Family and friends visited from 6 pm until 8 pm on Monday, February 3, at Bright Funeral Home, 405 South Main Street, Wake Forest, NC. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Flat Rock Baptist Church, 1529 Flat Rock Baptist Church, Louisburg, NC 27549, officiated by Rev. Gary McNair, Pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
