PATRICIA DOROTHY SMITH FINN

FRANKLINTON--Patricia Dorothy Smith Finn, 80, of Franklinton departed this earthly life on January 30, 2020. She was born in Ipswich, England on August 4, 1939 to the late Stanley Lawrence and Dorothy Rose Howard Smith. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Finn, Jr. Patricia was passionate about her grandchildren and loved helping her family. She loved fishing with her son, Troy, knitting blankets, cooking, and was an exceptionally well versed reader and extremely knowledgeable of English history.

Surviving are her children, Dane Louise Fields, Troy Sherman Finn (Angela), and Michelle Renee Johnson (Terrell); her seven grandchildren, Trey Johnson (Taylor), Nathaniel Johnson, Ava Johnson, Christopher Finn, Elizabeth Williams, Gabriel Fields, and Christian Fields. Also surviving are her sisters, Carolyn Saxon and Katherine Smith, and a brother, John Smith.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 East Mason St., Franklinton, NC 27525, with the Reverend Allen Murphy officiating. The family received friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Parkinson's Foundation or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
