BOBBY WAYNE PETERS

YOUNGSVILLE--Bobby Wayne Peters, 83, of Youngsville passed away on March 6, 2020. He was born in Carter County, Tennessee, on December 5, 1936 to the late Wade and Anne Bailey Peters. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Mittie Davis Peters, and daughter, Patricia Ann Peters. Bobby retired from the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense. He loved the Lord, his family and playing golf.

He is survived by his daughters: Minnie Ruth Shirey, husband Richard and Bobbie Horton, husband Ricky, both of Franklinton, North Carolina; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Loretta Julian, Mary Ann Dix and Shirley Jeffers; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Franklinton Baptist Church with Reverend David Averette and Robert Peters officiating. Burial will be on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Rondo Memorial Park in Texarkana, Arkansas.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all his caregivers: Tammy Parrish, Debbie Smith, Carol Abbott, Reni Stewart, Elaine Wiggins and Starr Abbott.
