DYLAN B. HOLLAND

ROCKY MOUNT--Dylan Bragg Holland, 26, of Rocky Mount, NC, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020. Dylan was born August 2, 1993 in Durham, NC. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherrie Summerlin Holland; his grandmother, Deydra Vaughan Bragg; his great-grandparents, Linwood and Sarah Vaughan, and his uncles, Johnny Vaughan and Eric Thomas Bragg, all of Franklinton, NC. He was also preceded by his beloved grandfather, Dr. James Edward Holland of Louisburg, NC.

Dylan is survived by his father, Jody Michael Holland, and grandmother, Joan Wilson Holland, both of Louisburg. He is also survived by his beloved fiancé, Kristie Farron, of Rocky Mount; her parents, Bob and Kat Farron of Lake Royale; uncles, Steven Edward Holland and wife, Candy, of Gladstone, MO; Dr. William Christopher Holland and wife, Kathleen, of Fayetteville, NC; Chris Summerlin and wife, Rometa, of Franklinton, NC; Jimmy Vaughan, also of Franklinton, NC; and a host of cousins.

Dylan graduated from Wake Forest-Rolesville High School where he was a member of the football team. He also attended Louisburg College. Dylan owned Southern Flooring Experts in Youngsville, NC. He was a wonderful, giving, and fun-loving person. He loved animals and leaves behind two treasured dogs, Buddy and Odom. Dylan was a huge Tar Heel fan and loved attending football and basketball games at UNC. He and his fiancé were planning their wedding and their future life together. She and her parents, whom he adored, along with his father and grandmother, are left broken hearted. He leaves behind many family and friends who will love and miss him forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
