FRANKLINTON--Gordon Laverne Appleford, 84, of Franklinton died Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Services will be held at a later date.

He was born on April 19, 1935 to the late Glenn and Thelma Hickox Appleford. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Harris Appleford; son, Gary Lee Appleford.

Surviving: daughter, Deborah Lynn Collins; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Don Appleford (Elaine); sister, Catherine Appleford; and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason Street, Franklinton.
