DEBORAH SUE ROGERS MCKILLOP

YOUNGSVILLE--After a strong battle against cancer, Deborah Sue Rogers McKillop, wife of Kevin McKillop, ascended into her heavenly home on Saturday, April 4, 2020. She was born on October 12, 1953 to the late Bob Roe and Betsy Rice Rogers. She was predeceased by her brother, Tony Duke Rogers, and a nephew, Stranger Micheal Rogers.

Deborah was a person that loved life and loved people. She was constantly doing everything she could to make others happy. She loved her grandbabies and spoiled them rotten. She loved her immediate family and allowed each one of them to be him/herself. Deborah's desire for her family and friends was to be united, therefore her wish was to have a large Celebration of Life.

Due to the pandemic, an initial family viewing took place on Monday, April 6, 2020. After the public returns to normal, the family plans to have a Celebration of Life service to remember this wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

In addition to her husband, Kevin, she is also survived by her son, Kristopher Warren Grissom (Amy); brothers, Timothy Herman Rogers (Gail), Michael Ryland Rogers; sister, Donna Rogers Cash; grandchildren, Andrew Grissom and Sydney Grissom; neices, Rachel Cash (Andrew), Rebekah Rogers, and Stormy Boggs-Rogers, and nephew, Joshua Cash (Brigid).

Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, NC 27549. Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
