GAIL ANNETTE MORRIS

ASHEBORO--Gail Annette Morris, age 75, of Asheboro passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House.

Ms. Morris was born in Tarboro, NC on April 26, 1945 to George Washington Morris and Etta Louise Todd Morris. She was retired from Gilbarco.

Gail was a faithful daughter to her mother, Louise Haswell of Wendell, NC. She is also survived by her brother Wayne Morris and wife Janie of Abilene, TX; she was the loving mother to Michele Braxton and husband Scott of Pleasant Garden, NC and to Todd Taylor and wife Karyn of Cincinnati, OH; she was also a loving grandmother to 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and a loyal friend to many.

She had a glowing, magnetic, and energetic personality. She loved to dance, play Bingo, and was a bowling champion right up until the end.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, her beauty, and her ability to light up a room and bring joy to those around her.

Her greatest wish is that everyone turn to count on and develop a close relationship with Jesus. He is the best friend anyone could have.

A private service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton, NC.

Memorials may be made to the Randolph Cancer Center, 373 N. Fayetteville St., Asheboro, NC 27203; Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204, or the Cone Health Cancer at Wesley Long, 2400 W. Friendly Ave., Greensboro, NC 27403.
