FRANKLINTON--Susan Elaine Cothran entered life eternal on October 13, 2020. Born in Franklinton in 1950, the daughter of the late Clifton McKinley Cothran and the late Josephine Cothran (Turner).
Susan graduated from Franklinton High School in 1968 and then earned an Associate's Degree from Louisburg College in 1970. Before retiring Susan worked as a secretary within the Wake County Public Schools and then also worked at the Franklinton Police Department. Susan was a lifelong member of Union View Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held on October 24th at 11am at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton with the Rev. Jonathan Chandler of Union View Baptist Church presiding.
