LOUISBURG- Donna Marie Medlin King, 75, of Louisburg, passed away on January 11, 2021. She was born on July 15, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Dolphus Elmer Medlin and Iantha "Tiny" Jeffreys Lewis. In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her son, Thomas Darion King; and her brother, Douglas Cornell Medlin.
Donna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Garrett Page; her grandchildren, Kayce Page (Jonathan Vincent) and Glenn Garrett "Trey" Page, III (Sommer); and her great-granddaughter, Saelah Rae Vincent.
Donna was an active member of Wood Baptist Church, where she participated in disaster relief projects and backpack buddies. She was a very caring and giving person, willing to help anyone. Donna was an independent woman that loved life. She would stay busy working in her yard, and she loved her dog "Highway". Donna was truly and amazing woman, who loved being a mother and grandmother.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the King Family Cemetery with The Reverend Burwell Stark officiating.
Flowers will be accepted or consider one of the following. contributions to Wood Baptist Church or planting a tree in memory of Donna.
