"Jimmy" James R. Shearin, Jr.
March 29, 1956 - January 28, 2021

Louisburg - James "Jimmy" Robert Shearin, Jr., 64, went home to be with the Lord Thursday afternoon. Jimmy was the son of the late James Robert Shearin, Sr. and Lula Moon Shearin.

A private funeral service will be held in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hill King United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Jimmy is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Deborah Shearin-Liggon and Alan Liggon; step-nephew, Spencer Liggon and 1 step-grandniece, Hannah Daughtry and husband Matt.

The family wishes to thank Denise Person who lovingly cared for Jimmy and also to the hospice team Dolly, Jeneva, Katina, Patsy and Mary for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hill King Women's Missionary or Hill King U.M.C. Building Fund, c/o Wendy Hunter, 37 Minnow Pond Ln. Louisburg, NC 27549.
