BEN D. FOSTER
February 8, 1941 - February 3, 2021

Ben Douglas Foster, 79, of Louisburg, went to be with his Lord February 3, 2021.

Ben was predeceased by his parents, Hubert Royster Foster and Etta Mae Burnette Foster and his brother, John R. Foster.

Services will be private. A celebration of Ben's life will be held at a later date.

Ben is survived by his wife of 60 years Hazel Tharrington Foster; daughter, Sheila Foster Perkins (David) of Raleigh; Greg Foster of Louisburg; grandchildren, Brien Perkins (Kelly) of Wake Forest; Robert Perkins (Megan) of Raleigh; Chessie Foster, Gennah Van Buren, Alana Brett Welch (Daniel) and Micheal Wynne all of Louisburg; great-grandchildren, Jace, Eleanor, Vivian and baby Perkins (Brien and Kelly) due in July.

Ben is also survived by his sister, Brenda Foster Hunt and sister-in-law, Annette Gupton Foster and many special nieces and nephews.

During Ben's career his was in Logging, Trucking and Farming.

Ben was a member of Louisburg Baptist Church. He was a quiet, giving and humble man. Always able to say a kind word to anyone he met. Always patient. Ben was known for his funny, joking and kidding ways. Ben touched the lives of so many people in Franklin County and beyond.

The family request that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Louisburg Baptist Church Ramp Fund or Wanda Walters Scholarship Fund P.O. Box 730, Louisburg, NC 27549.
