MISSY GAYLE MURRAY SMITH

FRANKLINTON, NC -- Missy Gayle Murray Smith, 48, of Franklinton, passed away on February 23, 2021. She was born on December 4, 1972 to Edith Faye Chavis Murray and the late James Spencer "J.S." Murray.

In addition to her mother, Edith, Missy is survived by husband of 26 years, Melvin Lee Smith; son, Spencer Addison (Amy); daughters, Lauren Cole (Tyler), Skylar Smith, Sabryna Williams (Earl), Katie Sherron, and Kristen Kleitsch; brothers, Jamie Murray (Kim), and Robert Swonke and six grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery, Franklinton, NC with the Reverend David Averette officiating.
