HAZEL B. GREENE

BUNN -- Hazel B. Greene, 97, went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2021. She was born on March 22, 1924, the oldest child of Willard and Polly Green Batchelor of Wilson County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur V. Greene and son in-law, Ted. D. Horton.

Hazel was a dedicated registered nurse at Franklin Memorial Hospital for 34 years. She enjoyed working in her flowers, going to the beach, reading crossword puzzles and being with her family.

She is survived by her son, Rudy Greene (Anne) of Raleigh, daughters: Ann Bryant Greene (Stan Rogers) of Bunn, and Betty Mize (Ray) of Boone; grandchildren: Tripp Green, Laura Green, Michael Green, Conor Mize, Sarah Mize; and her brother Erick Batchelor (Bobbi) of Texas.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Bunn Memorial Gardens Baptist Church Rd. Bunn, NC.
