ANNIE W. GUPTON
December 10, 1934 - April 28, 2021

LOUISBURG, NC - Annie Wester Gupton, 86, of Louisburg, died Wednesday evening, April 28, 2021 at her home.

Annie was born in Franklin County and was a daughter of the late Clyde and Sadie G. Wester; She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Gupton; sisters, Catherine Shearon, Ruth Weldon, Margaret Swanson, Elistine Allen, Delphia Wester and Mary Plummer Twitty; brothers, Millard Wester and Bobby Wester.

Annie was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she was known for her servant's heart. She could be found most anytime cooking and preparing food to take to others. Annie loved her family fiercely and enjoyed spending time with them at home and at Gaston Lake. She looked forward to her weekly card game with her friends and the fellowship they shared. Annie found joy in yard work, gardening, fishing, flowers, and spending time with the people she loved. She will be missed beyond measure but Heaven sure gained one wonderful cook.

A graveside service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday at the Gupton Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Annie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Debbie Gupton; grandson, Chris Gupton and his wife Gretchen; great-grandsons, Parker and Tucker Gupton; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Stallings; many nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mount Zion Baptist Church, Youth Fund, 111 Laurel Mill Centerville Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
