Albert was born in Wake County on March 18, 1935 the son of Junious Dalton Seagroves and Liddie Bell Carpenter. Mr. Seagroves had retired after thirty years working for the town of Wake Forest. He enjoyed gardening, farming and working around his home as a handyman enjoying all that nature has to offer. He also enjoyed singing along with old records.

Albert loved the Lord and cherished his family deeply. His family thought he was the best husband and father anyone could ask for. He is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years Evelyon B. Seagroves of Wake Forest; his children Danny (Libby) Seagroves of Ashville, AL; Eddy (Carol) Seagroves of Newport News, VA; Pamela (Mike) McAlister of Asheville, NC; Lisa (Chris) Ellison of Youngsville, NC; his brothers, Bobby (Jean) Seagroves of Franklinton, NC and Mac (Linda) Seagroves of Roseboro, NC; grandchildren Katherine, Davana, Kimberly, Joshua, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jela, Gary, Stephen, Ashley, Erin, Cameron, Zoe, Emily and Thomas; great-grandchildren :Anthony, Ethan, Savannah, S'ean, David, Cooper, Charlotte, Lucianna, Noah, Austin. He is also survived by his sister in law and brother in law Harold and Liffie Chamblee of Raleigh; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter who died in 1970, his brothers Robert, Ben and Johnny; his sister Liddie Mae Ray. His family wishes to thank his Transitions hospice nurse Sheryl for all her kind support through this difficult time.

With Albert's death, we lose someone who loved his family dearly, who cherished his friends, who showed love and care to everyone around him and who brought joy for life into every situation. His passing leaves a great hole in our hearts and lives. We thank God for the many years we had to celebrate life with him.
