MARTIN EDWARDS HARPER

FRANKLINTON, NC--Martin Edwards Harper, 70, of Franklinton, passed away on July 26, 2021. He was born in Vance County on February 28, 1951 to the late Luther and Mary Alice Edwards Harper.

Martin is survived by his wife, Debra Ball Harper; his four daughters, Nikki Pritchett (Roger), Emily Hurd (Chris), Leslie Keenan (Matthew), and Amy Harper (Kurt Smith); seven grandchildren; his sister, Rhonda H. Williams; and a great-granddaughter on the way.

The family received friends from 1-1:45 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, at Franklinton Baptist Church, 102 W. Mason St. Franklinton, NC 27525, where a memorial service was held 2 p.m. with Reverend David Averette officiating.

Flowers will be accepted, or contributions are suggested to the Special Olympics of Wake County, 2405 Wade Ave., Raleigh, NC 27607 or Franklinton Baptist Church. Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel is caring for the family. Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
