ANNIE "PATTY" NOWELL

FRANKLINTON, NC--Annie "Patty" (Perry) Nowell, 81, of Franklinton, passed away in Raleigh on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.

She was born in Franklin County on August 7, 1940, a daughter of the late William and Lou (Collie) Perry. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Thomas Nowell, her son Timothy, and her long-time companion, Ronald King.

Patty retired after working 28 years as a supervisor for ITT\Altel and was a member of the Golden Oldies ITT. She was known as a hard worker and a devoted, and loving mother. She will be missed by her family.

Patty is survived by her two children: Ricky Nowell (Karen) and Teresa Piper (Ricky), her grandchildren: T.J., Kimberly, and Keith; and she will also be missed by the King family.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church 1245 Mt. Olivet Church Rd. Franklinton, NC 27525. Due to COVID restrictions the family is asking instead of any food donations or deliveries to home to consider donating to the church.

Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel 504 E. Mason, Franklinton, NC 27549.
