JAMES "GRAHAM" TIPPETT

FRANKLINTON, NC--James "Graham" Tippett, 74, of Franklinton, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. He was born in Wake County, a son of the late Meadows Hayes and Frances (Card) Tippett. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters: Janie Faulkner and Doris Ball.

James served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed car rides with his wife, venturing out whenever they could to sight see. Most of all, James enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Tippett; his children: Tammy Bowers (Brian), Melvin Smith, and Ginger Dickerson; his grandchildren: Roxie Packer, Braxton Bowers, Sabrina Williams, Skylar Smith, Sandy Bennett, and Cassie Dickerson; and great-grandchildren: Liam, Miles, Westlyn, and Ryder.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, in Franklinton.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church Perry's Chapel Rd. Franklinton, NC 27525.
