FRANKLINTON, NC -- Wayne Henderson Wheeler, 28, of Franklinton, NC died August 27, 2021 after a short, severe battle with COVID. Wayne was born on March 30, 1993.

He is survived by his parents, Edward and Laurel Wheeler; brother Gilbert Wheeler; his girlfriend, Bryanne Kilmer; grandmother Doris Wheeler and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceeded in death by his grandfather, Harold Henderson Wheeler, grandfather Gorrell Thompson, and grandmother Mildred Thompson.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church 1529 Flat Rock Church Road Louisburg, NC (The building fund) or the memorial fund in Wayne's honor on Facebook.

Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
