HEATHER KATHLEEN REED SCHULZ

MAYSVILLE, NC -- Heather Kathleen Reed Schulz, with her husband Ingo K Schulz at her side, passed away peacefully at Onslow Memorial Hospital on the morning of September 15, 2021.

She was born on December 24, 1965, in Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her mother Juanita Jeanneanne Reed, father Harold Elmer Reed, sisters Tammy and Debbie.

Heather was always thinking of her childrens' and grandchildrens' needs, before her very own. Heather was a traveler at heart always looking for the next adventure. She found joy in simple things; relaxed conversations, sitting on the beach, or in nature. Family was all-important to Heather and she relished her role as a loving wife, devoted mother, and caring grandmother (Nonnie). She was an avid amateur photographer with an artist's eye for composition. And even with all this, she was a true patriot who passionately defended this country and the armed services who protect her.

She is survived by her brother, Will Reed and wife Lynn, and sister Brenda; Heather's children, sons David Reed Frederickson, and Joshua Gene Frederickson, daughter Brandi Nicole Frederickson Mincey and husband Jeremy; grandchildren Piper, Brandon, William, Charlotte, Havannah, Lily, Olivia, Catalina.

A Celebration of Heather's Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Kahlert Funeral Chapel in Maysville.

Arrangements by Kahlert Funerals & Cremations in Maysville.
