William Jennings "Billy" Winston, 73, of Louisburg passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at his home. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Aubrey Winston, his mother, Constance Cheaves Winston and his son, Joshua Aubrey Winston.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 6 p.m. at Bright Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 - 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born in Raleigh, NC, Billy worked as a manager for Thompson Cadillac in the parts department for over 30 years. He also had an educational background in veterinary medicine. He loved horses, cars and people. He enjoyed living in the country, fishing, making and playing music and spending time with his children.

He is survived by his wife, Karla Winston and his daughter, Jennifer Winston Lonon, her husband Anthony Lonon and his only grandson, Kirby Lee Tharrington.
