E. WAYNE PIPPIN
October 9, 1937 - February 13, 2022

BUNN, NC - Edgar Wayne Pippin, 84, of Bunn, died Sunday morning, February, 13, 2022 at Duke Raleigh Hospital.

Wayne was a son of the late Leon and Eloise S. Pippin. He was preceded in death by his son, Lee Pippin and his brother, Louis Pippin.

Wayne retired as a Chief Petty officer after twenty years of service in the Navy.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 17, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Linda L. Pippin; sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Connie Pippin of Harrisonburg, VA; Tim and Khristi Pippin of Bunn; daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Tim Morgan of Raleigh; Christy and Chris Wilder of Bunn; sister, Claire P. Nelson of Elizabethtown; brother, Charles Pippin of Raleigh; grandchildren, Robbie, Bethany (Michael), Justin, Audrey, Brianna, Madison, Morgan, Charleston, Deacon and Caleb; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Lydia.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 98018, Washington, DC 20090-8018.
