LOUISBURG, NC - Susie Patton Gupton, 59, of Louisburg, died Sunday evening.

Susie was preceded in death by her father, Tom Patton; husband, Steven Jay Gupton and sister, Teresa P. Rhodes.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, May 5, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private family burial will be held at Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Susie is survived by her daughters, Shirley Gupton and Ashley Fowler; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Jennifer Gupton; Brandon and Amy Gupton; mother, Shirley M. Patton; sisters, and brother-in-law, Debbie and James Ray Parrish; Shelby Ayscue and her fiancé, Brent Perdue; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Betsy Patton; Thomas and Linda Patton; Roy and Brenda Patton; grandchildren, Autumn Welch, Nathan Gupton, Adrian Gupton, Liam Gupton and Elijah Gupton; many nieces and nephews.
