CASTALIA, NC--Louis Walton Bobbitt Jr. died May 16, 2022 at his home. Louis was born on August 15, 1930 in Castalia, NC. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ella Yvonne Bobbitt Cornwell, his father, LW Bobbitt, Sr. and mother, Ella Johnson Bobbitt, his sisters, infant Dorothy Bobbitt, Lurlene Bobbitt and Jaunita Bobbitt Smith, and a nephew.
Louis is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ola Mae Boulden Bobbitt; two grandchildren, sister, Annaionette Bobbitt Lilly of Garner, NC; brothers-in-law, Wayne (Linda), Wesley (Connie) and Wade (Irma) Boulden of Nashville, NC, and sisters-in-law, Annie Marie Braswell and Alice Lucas of Castalia, NC; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family received friends Friday, May 20, 2022, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, Louisburg, NC where funeral services were held 3 p.m., Saturday at with Reverend Carlisle Hall officiating.
