MAXINE D. STROTHER
August 26, 1930 - June 22, 2022

LOUISBURG - Maxine Denton Strother, 91, of Louisburg, died Wednesday morning, June 22, 2022.

A native of Franklin County, Maxine was a daughter of the late Luther and Zelma Fuller Denton. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Lea Marshall.

Maxine was a lifelong member of Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church. She loved to work in her yard, her flower beds and enjoyed going out to eat with her friends.

A funeral service was held 11 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2022 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory. The family received friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be private at Lancaster Memorial Park.

Maxine is survived by her son, Anthony Strother; brother, J.L. Denton, Jr.; niece, Rhonda Gehrmann; one great-niece, two great-great nieces and many friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ransdell Chapel Baptist Church, 929 M.C. Wilder Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549
