FRANKLINTON, NC--Merlin C. Jones, 81, of Franklinton died July 21, 2022 .
Merlin was born in Franklinton, on January 8, 1941 to the late Henry and Sallie Jones.
Merlin was preceded in death by one son, Daryl Jones, siblings, Charles, Clinton, Morris, Garret, Mabel, and his twin brother Melvin.
Survivors: children, G. Annette Robinson (Clyde), Ronald Jones (Subrina), B. Dean Jones, Paula Spruill, Stacey D. Hester, and Rodney McInnis (Shawn); siblings, Susie M. Elliott (John), Samuel Jones (Fanny), James Robert Jones, Helen Kearney (Burley), and Sallie E. Jones; grand and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.
Eulogistic service was Thursday, 1 p.m., July 28, 2022 at Cutchins Family Mortuary & Cremation Chapel with Elder Frank L. Williams officiating. Cutchins Family Mortuary & Cremation in charge of arrangements. |
