LOUISBURG, NC--Joanna Ruth Parker Gupton, 73, of Louisburg, died Sunday morning, March 12, 2023.
She was the oldest daughter of the late Orvil Parker and Josephine Parker and was preceded in death by her son, Michael Johns.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, March 18 at White Level Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in the White Level Baptist Church Cemetery.
Joanna is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Lee Gupton, daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Jay Frigon; brothers and sister-in-law, Daniel and Diane Parker; Wayne Parker; sister and brother-in-law, Tania and Bill Sheaves; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tiffany, Corey, Tyler, Sam. Mychal, Lyla, and Christina.
The family requests in Lieu of flowers memorials be made to the UNC Burn Center, 101 Manning Dr # 7600, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
