Patricia Higgins Underwood-Ayscue and the late Bill Ayscue

KNIGHTDALE, NC--Patricia Higgins Underwood-Ayscue, 69, of Knightdale, passed away Saturday morning, March 25, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Patricia was the daughter of the late Bill Higgins Jr. and Elise W. Higgins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ayscue and step-father, Jim Creech.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 1 at 3 p.m. at Rock Springs Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Kimmie Stewart and Amy Underwood Sproul; step-daughters, Angela Ayscue and Anna Ayscue; grandchildren, Timothy George (Lindsey), Zachary George (Brianna), Abigail Sproul, Anthony Sproul, Jr., and Aaron Sproul; great-grandchildren, Greyson George and Paisley George; sister, Angie Markovetz and husband Don; brothers, Ronnie Higgins and wife Martina, Michael Higgins and wife Lee Ann, Bill Higgins and wife Pam; and half-brother Bob Higgins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601; or the American Parkinsons Disease Association at PO Box 61420, Staten Island, NY 10306.
