Marietta was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Carey J. Perry, and her second son, Timothy Miller Perry.

She is survived by her sons, C. Jones Perry, Jr. of Dobbs Ferry, NY and Myers Lee Perry of Raleigh, NC, and her daughter, Patrice Perry of Louisburg, NC. In addition, she is survived by her brothers, David Miller of Creedmoor, NC and Thomas Miller of Burlington, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
