Lori Winslow Murray

LOUISBURG, NC--Lori Winslow Murray, 57, of Louisburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was born to the late Kenneth L. Winslow and Sophia Jones Winslow on November 1, 1965, in Pasquotank County.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Lynn Medlin, and her brother-in-law Robert Jones Jr.

Lori is survived by her husband of 31 years, Chuck Murray of the home, her daughter Caroline Murray Lee (Robert); two grandchildren, Greyson Ricks Lee, and Emery Caroline Lee; two brothers, Ken Winslow, and Jerel Winslow; two sisters, Gail Lane, and Patti Jones; her sister-in-law Lisa Neville, her father-in-law Charles Murray; and many nieces and nephews.

Lori had a heart of gold and would light up the room. She was a faithful and active member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church in Louisburg. She enjoyed professional bass fishing with her husband and spending time at their lake house at Lake Gaston. She loved the Lord, and her family and was so proud to be "Mimi" to her grandchildren. She will be missed tremendously by everyone who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Duke Memorial Baptist Church, 3976 NC-581 in Louisburg with burial immediately to follow at Duke Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and visitors immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial contributions in Lori's honor to Duke Memorial Baptist Church 3976 NC-581, Louisburg NC 27549.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services of Louisburg.
