Shirley Ann Tant
November 21, 1954-April 24, 2023

LOUISBURG, NC--Ms. Shirley Ann Tant, 68, of Louisburg passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. She was born to the late John Tant and Inez Batchelor Tant on November 21, 1954, in Franklin County, North Carolina.

Shirley is preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Val Tant; her parents, John and Inez Tant; and her brother Roger Tant.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Chris Tant and wife Rebecca, Michael Tant, and Robert Tant and wife Courtney; two granddaughters, Lydia and Charity Tant; three grandsons, Titus, Mason and Phoenix Tant; four brothers, Jackie Tant, Johnny Tant, John Tant Jr., and Louis Tant; and one sister Felicia Tant.

Shirley will always be remembered as the smiling face everyone got to know and love at Hardee's in Rolesville. She loved her job and had been employed with the company since 1998. She enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley, Conway Twitty and Tammy Wynette as well as watching John Wayne. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services with burial to immediately follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors following the service at the cemetery.
