Willis Alfred Peoples
September 3, 1932 - May 4, 2023

Wake Forest, NC--Willis Alfred "W.A." Peoples, 90, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, May 4, 2023. He was born September 3, 1932 in Franklin County to the late Bobbie Louis Peoples and Mamie Lassiter Peoples.

W.A. is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Shirley Abbott Peoples; children: Tim Peoples (Jennifer), Cindy Hornyak (John), Kelly Brooks (Kenny); grandchildren: Kristy Wynn, Katlyn Brooks, Cody Hornyak, Lindsay Graunke (Josh), Adam Peoples, Katie Parker, David Parker; and his great-grandchildren: Harper Graunke, Logan Parker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Vernon Peoples, Bobby Wayne Peoples, Clifton Peoples, Darrell Peoples, Stuart Peoples, Margaret P. Raybon "Sister", and Doris P. Newman.

A service to celebrate his life will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, May 7, at Knightdale United Methodist Church, 7071 Forestville Road, Knightdale. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 1812 N Hwy. 39 N, Louisburg.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knightdale United Methodist Church, 7071 Forestville Road, Knightdale, NC 27545.
