John Willis Finn
November 24, 1943 - June 4, 2023

Louisburg, NC--John Willis Finn, of Louisburg, North Carolina, passed away on June 4, 2023. He was born on November 24, 1943, the son of the late Luther Sr. and Sallie Chappell Finn. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife, Rosa Robertson Finn; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Luther W. Finn, Jr (Patricia), Walter Horace Finn (Joan), and Mickey Finn.

John was a retired machinist in the fabrication industry. He was a simple man, strong-willed and hardworking. In his leisure time, John enjoyed being an avid hunter and a very knowledgeable fisherman.

John is survived by his daughter, Tammy Calvery (Thomas); his grandchildren: Samantha Dalton (Corey), Garrett Calvery (Tina), and Cody Calvery; great-grandchildren: Piper Calvery, Torsten Calvery, and Oaklynn Rose Dalton; his sister, Patricia Jackson Lyons (Jim); numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life for John Finn will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 3 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral & Cremation Services, 804 North Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg, NC, 27549.

Services are under the direction of Lancaster Funeral & Cremation Services. Friends and family are encouraged to visit www.lancasterfcs.com to offer condolences.
