LOUISBURG, NC--James Douglas "Buddy" Clark, 71, died September 11, 2023. He was born on November 12, 1951, to the late Arthur Douglas and Mary Sue Floyd Clark. In addition to his parents, Buddy was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Clark.
Buddy is survived by his wife of 19 years, Betty Kearney Clark; his daughter, Sherry Glogovac (Marty); his son, James "Buck" Clark , Jr.; his stepchildren, Stephen Murray (Denise), Tammy Murray, and Jackson Strickland, III (Cara); twelve grandchildren; and his sister, Barbara C. Laws.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, September 17, at New Hope Christian Church, 2779 NC 98, Louisburg.
The family has entrusted First Cremation Society with funeral arrangements.
