Katie Sue McCartney Arnold
November 14, 1946 - October 24, 2023

Louisburg--Katie Sue McCartney Arnold, age 76 of Louisburg went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. She was born on November 14, 1946, to the late Fred McCartney and Pauline Reagan White.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dan Arnold and sister, Shirley Howard. Her family was her greatest blessing. She was known for the best home cooked meals around, maintaining a beautiful yard, and for her amazing handmade quilts. She loved to go to dances to enjoy music with her friends and her smile would light up any room. Her family surrounded her each week for a marvelous Monday at Mama Katie's.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Williams Collins (Tony), son Ronnie Wayne Williams II (Crystal); granddaughter, Lindsay Bell; great granddaughter, Palmer Hobbs; siblings, twin Betty Hutsell, Janet Hamilton, Frances Turner (David); brother, Tommy White (Laura), and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 2 p.m., at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 4160 NC 561 Hwy, Louisburg, NC 27549, with visitation following the service.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Children's Ministry of Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 4160 NC 561 Hwy Louisburg, NC 27549. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for the great care they provided over the last month.
