Franklinton, NC--Stella Bryan Holley, 98 of Franklinton, died Friday, November 17, 2023.

Stella was born March 12, 1925 in Wake County to the late Ernest Harold Bryan and Ila Jones Bryan. She worked at Mill Outlet for many years and was an excellent seamstress. Stella retired from Wake Medical Center. Stella was a devoted wife to her late husband Sam Holley, a wonderful mother to her four children, and a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter: Ila Mae H. Johnson of Franklinton; sons: Gerald Holley of Cape Carteret, William "Bill" Holley (Barbara) of Cedar Point, L. Wayne Holley of Raleigh; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Oak Level Christian Church, 2279 Cedar Creek Road, Youngsville, NC 27596. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at the church.
