March 14, 1933 - December 12, 2023

LOUISBURG--- Sally Blane Credle Murphy, 90, of Louisburg, passed away Tuesday evening at her son and daughter-in-law's home.

Sally was the daughter of the late Jeff Fulford and Sallie Glenn Hooks Credle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Gray "P.G." Murphy, Jr. and her brother, Allen Credle. She was a retired Franklin County school teacher of Thirty-Three years. Her life was greatly enriched by her students.

The family will receive friends 11 - 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023, the funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

Sally is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Alisha Murphy of Lexington; Mark and Denise Murphy of Raleigh; grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Katie and Christopher.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Epworth Church 5550 Sladesville Credle Road Scranton, NC 27875
