Franklinton, NC--Funeral services for Shawn Lorenzo Fogg, age 52, who died on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, will be held on Saturday, December 23, at 12 p.m. from the First Baptist Church in Franklinton with Rev. Eddie Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Born June 1, 1971, he is survived by one son, Trekwon Hinton of Louisburg, NC; his mother, Catherine Chavis (Leo) of Oxford, NC; his father, Ben Gill (Dean) of Oxford, NC; his maternal grandfather, Henry G. "Popsicle" Williamson of Bunn, NC; five sisters, Annie Gill and Denise Clements (Jerry), both of Raleigh, NC, Doris Fogg (Michael Lynch) of Franklinton, NC, Hattie Chavis (Johnnie) and Lydia Brandon (Jonathan), three brothers, Harold Yancey and Terry Chavis, all of Oxford, NC and Andrew Chavis (Sharon) of Raleigh, NC.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 -7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
