Hollister, NC--Funeral services for William "Doddle Bug" Richardson, age 70, who died on Thursday, January 11, 2024, were held on Monday, January 15, at 1 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

Born June 4, 1953, he is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae Richardson of the home; one daughter, Wanda Jean Richardson (Stacey) of Hollister, NC; three sons, William Richardson, Jr. (Carissa) and Darrell Richardson (Cricket), both of Hollister, NC, Brad Richardson (Sharaye) of Virginia Beach, VA; three sisters, Patricia Coley and Dellie Richardson (Nathaniel), both of Macon, NC, Edith Richardson (Leon) of Warrenton, NC; three brothers, Miloh Richardson, Thomas Richardson (Mattie) and Will Richardson, all of Macon, NC; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Viewing was Monday 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
