Marlene Peele Griffin

LOUISBURG, NC -- Marlene Peele Griffin, age 81, of White Level died Friday, February 2, 2024. She was born on December 1, 1942, to the late Willie F. and Daisy Pridgen Peele. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold T. Griffin.

Marlene is survived by her sons, Chuck Griffin (Lisa), and Dale Griffin (Julie); her daughter, Karen G. Davis (Scottie); six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brother, Lemmie Peele (Judy); one niece; and a nephew.

The family received friends Sunday, February 4, from 5-7 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, Louisburg. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2024, at Lancaster Memorial Park, 2210 NC 561 Hwy, Louisburg, NC 27549, with the Reverend Nathaniel Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at all other times at Marlene's home.
